HOW WE CALCULATE OUR PRICES:

At Clear Concept Design we pride ourselves on being able to incorporate clever solutions in our decorating process that won’t break your budget. Often we will repurpose something old and make it new, or think of ways to work with what you have, so that we are not spending unnecessarily. We are committed to not charging exorbitant prices and on creating lasting relationships with our clients, built on integrity and trust.

Our straightforward fee is simple: the cost of all purchases needed (furniture, decor, etc. + taxes) + 30% decorating and labor fee + standard $950 booking fee. For projects which involve more than 2 rooms, we add $450 per additional room. And that’s it! Not one penny more. Best of all: We tell you the final cost BEFORE we start any work so that there are no surprises at the end of the project. 

Most of our full home makeovers cost under $15,000 with the majority costing only half that. And we carry out our decorating projects within just a few days. We’re frugal shoppers who have good taste! And we firmly believe that stylish doesn’t always mean expensive. Here is a breakdown of how some of our competitors calculate their pricing. You’ll see that our method works out to be much more affordable and there are no nasty surprises at the end of your project. You know exactly what you’re paying for — to the cent — before we even begin work.

·       WE DO NOT CHARGE BY THE SQUARE FOOT!
Some interior decorators charge by the square foot and their average prices range from $10 to $17/square foot. So if you are dealing with a room that is 15×20 the decorating price would range from $3000 to $5100 just for that room! What’s more is that this price typically EXCLUDES the price of all furniture and décor purchased. So in the end you’ll be looking at an average price of $10,000 per room!

Some interior decorators charge by the hour. The average per hour cost ranges from $150 to $500/hour. This price excludes the cost of all furniture and décor purchased. Do the math and you’ll see how costly this pricing method can get.
